Tour Description
Land in Jordan with Royal Jordanian Airways. The Jordanian experience begins Up in the air.
First stop on terra firma – Petra! Come join me and see this amazing wonder and relive the fantasy of being Indiana Jones and his crusade!
Then we charge onwards to Kerak Castle, and go back in time – back to the Crusades. Remember the movie Kingdom of Heaven? Let’s do our own take of it here!
To cap it off, and to unwind a bit, we head to Wadi Rum – an oasis of tranquility, Bedouin style.
From here, we jet off to Cairo and do all it takes to conquer Egypt and soak it all in. From the must-do presidential pyramids and museums, to some pedestrial alley for best kept food secrets to the many tombs. Our 8 days in Egypt will be biblical, unprecedented and magical all the way.
Cairo aside, we will head to Alexandria and tick off the top attractions. Don’t worry – Mount Sinai is included. We won’t come back down with tablets of commandments, but with memory chips of photos that would last an eternity (at least in our lifetime!!)
I’ve always wondered how awe-struck I would be in front of the majestic Abu Simbel. We will head there too – and we can count the minutes it takes me to regain my breath.
The majestic trip ends in Syria – crossroads for many and a melting pot of all three monotheistic religion. 2 days in Aleppo and 2 days in Damascus. Sufficient time included for the last minute night market day market, mall and DIY shop-till-we-drop routine.
